The mission of the
Marine Corps Disaster Relief Unit is to quickly deploy personnel, food service
equipment, and food to disaster sites which are chosen by a qualified disaster
relief organization.

The DRU meets at the Mint Hill VFW on the second Monday of every
month @ 1900.
The Marine Corps Disaster Relief Unit has now been serving the community
for over 10 years. From our first deployment in 2003 to the coast
of Virginia, to a recent local Fire Dept BBQ fundraiser. Your DRU
is busy maintaining the equipment to be in the constant state of
